Art in 100 Words
Many have argued about the true definition of "art". Some have even argued if "art"could even be defined at all. In my belief, anyone and everyone is an artist. It's the production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty. For centuries art has been a controversial issue. Abstract, and scandalous paintings, sculptures, and pictures were often denied of even being called "art". Today, people have come to terms with art and how diverse it is. There are many different shape, style, and forms of art from and elegant painting by Thomas Kincade, to an abstract sculpture by George hart. Each form qualifies as art because it invokes the emotions of the artist and either tells a story, or has expressed a part of history. Over the years, I've learned a lot about art and its deeper meanings. I'm thrilled to learn more about art, and to unlock all its mysteries and history in the next nine months. Art influences my everyday life, because it is my life. It's my past, present, and future. Without the knowledge that starts here, i wouldn't be able to fall onto the right path for my career as a Graphic Designer.
